  a time in the day when you will be interacting with more than two other
  people and keep a log for 3 hours with the following information:

  • your verbal and nonverbal forms of communication, including your emotions
  • the people with whom you interact
  • where the communication takes place
  • the reaction or behavior of the person/people with whom you communicate

• Consider
  how the location of a communication event affects the behavior of the
  person with whom you communicate. Why does context impact communication?
• Reflect
  on how relationships affect communication. How does the nature of a
  relationship influence how you communicate and how the receiver of the
  message interprets your nonverbal cues, listens, and responds to you?
