Abstract must be used:AbstractAttention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a disorder that can be considered a lifetime disorder. ADHD develops as early as preschool years and the symptoms will be evident throughout adulthood hence gives clear understanding of why there is no proper medication to it. ADHD symptoms can be observed in a child as young as 12 years or even less. Such affected children are observed to be poor in academic work and if the right measures are not taken, the children might experience more problems, for instance, dysfunctional in elementary school and consistent poor performance. Children with ADHD may have poor cognitive and neuropsychological functioning in preschool. The goal of this research paper is to provide more information that can be used the ailing children, their family, and the medical fraternity on the disorder. Furthermore, the paper thrusts into how ADHD grows in a child, the challenges the children encounter, how many children are affected worldwide, all these in order to give a proper medical or non-medical intervention move that will reduce the number of cases. When the preschool teachers and medics are well conversant of ADHD, the knowledge will be used in protection and support of the affected children.ReferencesAjay Singh, C. J. (2015).
