As an analyst for a large U.S. multinational corporation, you are assigned to examine information about a company, completing an initial search and review. Your supervisor is a member of the Controller’s team. The controller reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Your work may be presented to a variety of audiences so professionalism is exceptionally important in all deliverables you create.1. Locate the most recent 10-K of your choice from the SEC (www.sec.gov ) or from the company website (SEC Annual Filing – 10-K). Present the company name and link to the most recent SEC 10-K report in the appropriate discussion for approval.2. The company you select should have International Issues and transactions; these would include foreign currency risk, global operations, and geographic segments beyond the U.S. It should be a company that you are interested in learning more about.Your report should be a five to six page report summarizing all the concepts of IFRS and international accounting issues as they relate to your selected MNC. IT IS NOT A 10K SEC PROJECT REPORT. This report is to be written in your own words and double spaced. What you are being asked to do is to capture the experience of the research that you did on your selected MNC. DO NOT quote from sources; just write what you learned about your MNC. I do not expect APA style re format or references. It’s just an essay; look at your report as if you were telling the reader a story. Also, make sure that you include in your summary if you enjoyed the research and anything extra you may have learned about your MNC because of the research.
