Future Trends and Innovations

• Create a 5-8 minute video presentation on a future advanced technology trend or innovation and how it might affect a specific sector of the health care delivery system, as well as health care management in that sector.
  

  Introduction

  In this assessment, you will be asked to use an online app or platform like Kaltura, or similar software, to record a presentation. All Capella learners have access to Kaltura. You will want to have an external or built-in webcam and microphone available and tested in advance of this assessment.   Introduction

  For this assessment you will create a 5–8 minute video presentation on a future advanced technology trend or innovation, and how it might affect a specific sector of the health care delivery system, as well as health care management in that sector, in the future.Your choice of a future advanced technology trend or innovation can be specifically related to your current or future career area or you can choose one that is especially fascinating or groundbreaking in nature to you. Be sure that your chosen advanced technology trend or innovation is either in its infancy or in the idea generation, screening, or experimentation phase of the innovation process. We are looking ahead to understand the value of awareness of the impact of future possibilities on strategic planning and forecasting.Your presentation should be suitable for a professional audience.You will need to use an online app or platform like Kaltura, or similar software, to record the presentation (see the Resources section of this assessment for more information). You must ensure that the video and audio qualities are clear, and you must provide a transcript or an outline of your presentation (for hearing impaired peers).Suggestion: Practice recording your presentation to ensure good quality video and audio, as well as to polish your delivery.Notes:
