PowerPoint Assignment with Zoom Presentation #1 My Culture
Locate five (5) “artifacts” from your culture including at least one book or story that was important to you as a child. You will display each artifact (via google image, photograph, clip art,etc.) on an individual slide within a PowerPoint Presentation.
How:
1. Begin with an introduction slide of a photograph of you as a little child entitled: This is Me!
SLIDE ONE –THIS IS ME AS A CHILD – PHOTO
2. Showcase each of your chosen artifacts with a graphic discussing the unique qualities pertaining to their importance and meaning.
Five (5) slides total: one (1) for each artifact.
(Remember to include your favorite book as your last artifact!)

•Include on SLIDE SIX support for the significance of children’s literature by typing a quote from Botelho and Rudman’s (2009) article that you feel best sums up the importance of being seen as a child inside the text of a children’s book.
Read, reflect, and choose (1) in–text connecting quote derived Botelho and Rudman’s (2009) chapter, ”Deconstructing Multiculturalism in Children’s Literature.
State the quote verbatim under your graphic and follow with the proper format for APA in–text citation: QUOTE HERE (Botelho & Rudman, 2009, p.#).

4. Upload as a File through Assignments to Canvas. Make sure to convert to PowerPoint!
