Remember that for partial correlations you also need to go through all the steps of hypothesis testing.

 

At least one of the homework problems (problem 27) implies that you should have a directional prediction. Just ignore that. For all the problems, simply use the data and go through the hypothesis testing steps we learned in class.

Remember, though, that even though you are making non-directional predictions, correlations do have a specific sign. So if the correlation is negative, but you report the absolute value, then you will get that part of the problem wrong.

I attached the questions. You may see the answer key in the attachments to make sure if the answer is correct. I also posted the lecture slides.
