- instructions: The entire assignment involves analyzing Wireshark dumps. You must read each one into Wireshark and answer the question(s) for that pcap dump. You do not have a lot to write for this exam! Your goal is to carefully go through the dump/scan, figure out what is happening, and answer the question in a few well-written sentences. Some of these dumps have been cut off to make them smaller, so may miss some packets, but the essence of each is there. There also will be packets that do not make sense to you, but the key is to look for the “essence” of the problem, which each question has. Take your time to look at these dumps carefully, and you may access info on the web if you want to look things up, but no asking anyone for help! Please write well-written and pointed responses that get to the heart of what is going on. You don’t need overly verbose answers, and a few good sentences should cover most answers.
