DESCRIPTION: The argumentative research paper (AR paper) will focus on a specific topic (from the approved list below) you will choose to argue regarding Chapters 1, 3, 5, and 6 from Rereading America, dealing with the following issues: cultural myths of justice, technology, gender, and race in the United States. After you have researched a topic, a suitable thesis statement needs to be formed. You will be defending a thesis that is debatable and has multiple perspectives. This paper is an academic, college paper, and I will try to give you as much feedback on acceptable thesis statements when I read your AR paper proposals.
