find a current event (something reported in the news; I do not recommend just searching online, but attempt instead to locate/observe something from your own surroundings). Please try to find something that is unique from other students in the class. But it must be newsworthy enough to have been reported by someone/reputable media/publication.
This topic is one of these four: planning, leading, organizing, controlling. And the current event could be positive or negative
As a Manager, the more we can demonstrate neutrality on (almost all) issues, the more powerful we will be leading our Employees and companies. It is okay (and even favorable to have opinions…) but it is not terribly necessary for us to impart those beliefs on others (Employees in our case), unless there is a specific (corporate) reason for doing so.
NOTE TO WRITER: I chose WALMART ARTICLE: https://www.cnbc.com/2022/06/03/walmart-welcomes-back-annual-hometown-bash-acknowledges-challenge-of-inflation.html
BECAUSE I WORK FOR WALMART AS A VENODR MANAGER, PROFESSOR HAS ASKED FOR US TO CHOSE SOMETHING FROM MY OWN SURROUNDINGS. EVERYDAY I SEE HOW WALMART HAS CRACKED AND CONTOL SPENDING. MATERIALS FOR REPAIRS ARE THOUGHT OUT TO THE SCREW. THIS AT TIMES IT DIFFCULT AND STRESSFUL BC YOU HAVE TO PUT THE PUSH BACK ON VENDORS AND EMPLOYEES. BUT AS DIFFCULT AS IT IS CONTROLLING DOES HAVE TO BE DONE FOR A BUSINESS TO BE SUCCESFUL.
