GET A PROFESSIONAL PAPER DONE BY AN EXPERT

Formats: The final project can take any of the following forms:A minimum 1000 word paper (include maps, diagrams, and photos as appropriate)DirectionsStep 1: Think of a subject that interests you.(Pick something Persian) This could be almost anything: cars, fashion, chicken wings, oak trees, earthworms, beaches, Buddhism, electoral politics, organic farming, Mayan ruins, diabetes, or atonal French-Canadian synth jazz. Really — anything. Some of the most successful projects in the past have looked at the geography of specific dishes: lefse, tacos al pastor, crepes, spanikopita, and baklava (to name a few). Others have looked at sports; for example, the spread of baseball around the world, and the geographic origins of lacrosse. Still others have included the geographies of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Christianity, virtual reality, Pokemon, child care, education, the river system of Western Russia. One person analyzed the emotional geographies of the small town in which she grew up. Another studied the peculiar geographies of being a military spouse. The sky is the limit. (And even then, not really. If you have your heart set on Lunar geographies, I’m not going to stop you.)Step 2: As you research your subject, think about the following questions. Some of these will make more sense than others; it all depends on the subject you’ve chosen:What can we learn about this subject through a spatial perspective? How has your subject been shaped by geography? What places in the world influenced your subject? How has your subject influenced places in the world? What cultural meanings does your subject have? What cultural roles does it play?If you were to teach a class on the “geography” of your subject, what would you highlight?Step 3:If you choose the paper:Follow a traditional research paper format with introduction, body, conclusion, and bibliography.Your bibliography should follow a common referencing standard (MLA, APA, Chicago, etc.). There is no requirement on the number of references, though it should support the level of research you are doing. The paper should be 1000 words. More than that is even better.Include whatever maps, photos, drawings, and links that you feel will support your paper.Save the paper as a Word document, PDF, or Google Doc.
