final Paper

For the final paper, I’d like you to reflect on the reconciliation of Platonic, Aristotelian, and Christian thought. Specifically, how did Augustine embrace Platonic themes to elaborate his political thought? How did Aquinas embrace Aristotelian philosophy? What role do this-worldly concerns play in the thought of Augustine and Aquinas? What role does the realm of the ideal play in their thought? Contrast Augustine and Aquinas by identifying the Platonic and Aristotelian influences in their thought and how they go about reconciling these philosophical outlooks with Christianity.
Be sure to be specific in your papers. Make sure to show an understanding of the texts we reviewed in class and make references to the texts. While this paper should be 9-12 pages long, any page length is fine so long as you delve deeply into the prompt and address it directly. Be sure to refer to the texts!

Please inform the individuals of the purpose of this assignment and make sure you receive their consent.
Interviews:
Review the “Family Interview” template prior to the interview. Family beliefs: Have they changed over generations?
Educational and occupational status in the culture and in the family
Communication methods: verbal and nonverbal
Current family goals/priorities
Family member roles and organizational systems
Spiritual beliefs: current practice and death and dying
Alternative lifestyles

IT class research paper propossal/ paragraph with thesis and outline

If statement is accepted by the professor I will contact you for the entire paper. For now all I need is to -Please submit a Word document with a well-developed introductory paragraph followed by an outline of your research paper. The thesis must be in this paragraph.

-The paper should discuss in detail an information technology of your choosing. Discuss the technology in detail; provide an analysis of the technology and industry trends. this paper should have the most recent technological developments that have occurred with the technology. also, discuss how the technology is used and adapted by different industries.

additional notes
While the thesis statement is short, it is designed, and optimally should include the claim, the hypothesis, that will be studied in the research paper assignment.
One more tip, you may be familiar with another form of writing, that being the “White Paper” which is very customary in the IT industry. The White Paper traditionally lacks a hypothesis (not always but most often), instead, it features a product or platform, whereas a research paper traditionally does not concentrate on a product or platform but rather on an overarching issue and of course is hinged on a hypothesis that can be proven or dis-proven.

Response to Discussion 7a

The grounded theory is a qualitative approach to validating the operations needed to develop theory from observed data. This research approach places emphasis on retrieving data about peoples’ experiences in a specific setting and then logically constructing a theory from the beginning. Seeing that the study investigating GALs impact on children showed positive outcomes in studies areas with the exception of types of placement, a grounded theory will seek to take the one aspect a kind of arrangement and attempt to establish a theory regarding why placement showed no effect. However, based on the past results the theory will require starting the study from the beginning using observed data which may be collected using interviews and observation, records, or a combination of any these methods. This exploratory process explains a phenomenon and shows how the phenomenon is resolved (Hancock, Ockleford, and Windridge, 2009).
The main approach acknowledged in the application of grounded theory is the overall method of comparative analysis. The general method of comparative analysis (GMCA) comprises the comparison of evidence of cases to evaluate likenesses and differences to determine the generalizability and boundary conditions of a concept. Using the GMCA, new cases are compared to old ones, resulting in either validation of original perceptions if similar or redevelopment of perceptions if different. New cases provide clarity on existing insights and shape future inquiries with new ideas. Based on the data collected from the original study, the new qualitative study should compare additional data regarding placement in the original quantitative quasi-experimental study to the data retrieved from the new study (Johnson, 2015).

Ethical and Legal Implications of Prescribing Drugs

What type of drug should you prescribe based on your patient’s diagnosis? How much of the drug should the patient receive? How often should the drug be administered? When should the drug not be prescribed? Are there individual patient factors that could create complications when taking the drug? Should you be prescribing drugs to this patient? How might different state regulations affect the prescribing of this drug to this patient?
These are some of the questions you might consider when selecting a treatment plan for a patient.

As an advanced practice nurse prescribing drugs, you are held accountable for people’s lives every day. Patients and their families will often place trust in you because of your position. With this trust comes power and responsibility, as well as an ethical and legal obligation to “do no harm.” It is important that you are aware of current professional, legal, and ethical standards for advanced practice nurses with prescriptive authority. Additionally, it is important to ensure that the treatment plans and administration/prescribing of drugs is in accordance with the regulations of the state in which you practice. Understanding how these regulations may affect the prescribing of certain drugs in different states may have a significant impact on your patient’s treatment plan. In this Assignment, you explore ethical and legal implications of scenarios and consider how to appropriately respond.
To Prepare

Review the Resources for this module and consider the legal and ethical implications of prescribing prescription drugs, disclosure, and nondisclosure.
Review the scenario assigned by your Instructor for this Assignment.
Search specific laws and standards for prescribing prescription drugs and for addressing medication errors for your state or region, and reflect on these as you review the scenario assigned by your Instructor.
Consider the ethical and legal implications of the scenario for all stakeholders involved, such as the prescriber, pharmacist, patient, and patient’s family.
Think about two strategies that you, as an advanced practice nurse, would use to guide your ethically and legally responsible decision-making in this scenario, including whether you would disclose any medication errors.

By Day 7 of Week 1
Write a 2- to 3-page paper that addresses the following:

Explain the ethical and legal implications of the scenario you selected on all stakeholders involved, such as the prescriber, pharmacist, patient, and patient’s family.
Describe strategies to address disclosure and nondisclosure as identified in the scenario you selected. Be sure to reference laws specific to your state.
Explain two strategies that you, as an advanced practice nurse, would use to guide your decision making in this scenario, including whether you would disclose your error. Be sure to justify your explanation.
Explain the process of writing prescriptions, including strategies to minimize medication errors.

This assignment should also address the strengths and weaknesses of applying qualitative methods as opposed to quantitative methods to answer the proposed research question.

“In this section, you will discover an essential component to qualitative research methodology: Grounded Theory. This section also involves discussion of two other important components to qualitative research: Narrative Analysis and Ethnography.”
Support your paper with a minimum of 5 resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.
