In a course, a teacher gives the following tests and assignments:

Write a class named CourseGrades. The class should have an array of GradedActivity object as a field. The array should be named grades. The grades array should have four elements, one for each of the assignments previously described. The class should have the following methods:
setLab: This method should accept a GradedActivity object as its argument. This object should already hold the student’s score for the lab activity. Element 0 of the grades field should reference this object.
setPassFailExam: This method should accept a PassFailExam object as its argument. This object should already hold the student’s score for the pass/fail exam. Element 1 of the grades field should reference this object.
setEssay: This method should accept an Essay object as its argument(Use GradedActivity object ). The Essay class extends the GradedActivity class presented in this chapter. The Essay class should determine the grade a student receives for an essay. The student’s essay score can be up to 100 and is determined in the following manner: 1) Grammar: 30 points, 2) Spelling: 20 points, 3) Correct length: 20 points, and Content: 30 points. Element 2 of the grades field should reference this object.
setFanalExam: This method should accept a FinalExam object as it’s argument. This object should already hold the student’s score for the final exam. Element 3 of the grades field should reference this object.
toString: This method should return a string that contains the numeric scores and grades for each element in the grades array.

I  believe that scientists get it right when they state that most people  understand that there is a difference between virtual befriending and  real befriending. I think that one can have both virtual and real  friendships with the same people, but that a strictly virtual friendship  lacks the authenticity of a real friendship. As discussed in the  reading material, real friendships are of a deeper and more intimate  nature (Helm 2017). This is not to say that a virtual friendship is any  less valuable, I fell that virtual relationships are probably a good  thing for some people, people with social anxiety for example, but I  think that real human interaction is imperative emotional health and  wellbeing.
The reason there is an important distinction between  virtual friending and real befriending is the honestly and integrity of a  real friendship. While people can be deceptive in real life, it is more  difficult in practice that a friendship over social media. According to  Vernon, psychologists contend that up to 40% of the information put up  on social networking sites might be fabricated (Vernon, 2010, p. 105).  That number is quite astounding, nearly half of what is inferred from  one person to another in a virtual friendship may be false, or at least  exaggerated.
After reviewing the Stanford piece, it is difficult for me to gauge  how virtual friendships stand ethically. On the one hand, there is  certainly deception among virtual friends, but the question is really,  does it even matter? Shouldn’t we, as humans, assume that there is  inherent dishonesty in anything as artificial as a social media based  relationship? I would like to think that we know the difference between  what is real and what is not, and that deep down social media is as much  an entertainment venue as anything else.

You are a rookie investigator assigned to the Juvenile Sex Crimes Unit. Because you are new to the unit, the supervisor of the unit has assigned you to work with veteran investigator Jake Wilson to get your training in sex crimes unit investigations. During your tour of duty on your first day, you receive a call to proceed to 1255 Maple Street to meet a patrol officer who is on a juvenile sex assault call at the No Tell Motel. On arrival, you learn that the suspect was seen by law enforcement officers acting suspicious in the parking lot earlier in the day, and when he spotted officers, he quickly drove away from the motel parking lot. After a short chase, officers took the subject, Jose Torres, H/M 35 years of age, into custody. 
After taking the suspect into custody, he was asked by officers why he ran, and he opened up to officers and told them that he had been having sex with an underage 14-year-old girl, his girlfriend, in the motel room and had gotten scared when he saw the police. You also learn that officers did not read him his rights before asking him questions regarding the scene and recognize this might be a problem in the case. The crime scene had been entered already by several police officers who stopped by to visit the crime scene, and office management had also stopped by. The 14-year-old female was also at the crime scene, and your partner is interviewing her on the scene to find out what happened.

Counterarguments
Last week, you brainstormed a research question and several aspects of the topic you’ve chosen to write about for your W6 Rough Draft. For this discussion, you will give an answer to that question in the form of a thesis statement.
Example: Suppose your research question for W6 was something like, “Should pit bull terriers be banned in my community?” After doing some preliminary research, you have concluded that pit bulls, if raised properly, are no more dangerous than other breeds of dogs. Your thesis statement can be something like, “Pitbulls should not be banned in Kansas City, MO, because X, Y, and Z.” (Fill in the letters with reasons that support your claim.)

Assignment 1: LASA 2: Stratification and Prejudice in Current Events
The purpose of this assignment is to explore stratification and prejudice in current events. Despite great advances towards equality between the races and genders, racial and gender discrimination, as well as class stratification remain serious social problems. To conclude this course, you will use the news media to discover current social issues with regards to race and gender.
To complete this assignment, perform the following tasks:

Using newspapers, news websites, or news magazines, select three current events (within the last six months) that reflect our studies on stratification.  One event should represent racial issues, one gender issues, and one class issues.  All three should demonstrate discrimination and/or stratification in American society.

Chapter 12 – From the chapter reading, we learned that e-mail is a major area of focus for information governance (IG) efforts, and has become the most common business software application and the backbone of business communications today.  In addition, the authors provided details to support their position by providing 2013 survey results from 2,400 corporate e-mail users from a global perspective.  The results indicated that two-thirds of the respondents stated that e-mail was their favorite form of business communication which surpassed not only social media but also telephone and in-person contact.

Application: Sampling
 
The accuracy of the results of research data is partially dependant on the sample that was used in the research study. How large the sample, its specific characteristics, and how it was selected, all play a significant role in how “good” the research results will be. Without appropriate sample size, characteristics, and selection, the results will be less than optimal. To this point, forensic psychology professionals often use existing databases from which to draw the data for their research; that is, they obtain their sample from these data bases. The problem with doing this is that the researcher does not have input into the sample represented in the data, such as how and from whom it was collected.
