n this module, you have learned a great deal about the spread of Greek culture via the accomplishments of Philip II and Alexander the Great, but there are many aspects that we could still go in-depth about. In fact, entire courses are devoted to just Macedonia and Pan-Hellenism at some universities.

In this assignment, you will research and produce a mini-history paper which will focus on a specific topic of your choosing in regards to one of the civilizations covered in this module. You can sign up for your topic on the M6: Nano-History Topic Selection Wiki located on the next page. The topic selection wiki is not graded, and there is no due date to sign up for your topic. However, topics are available on a first come, first served basis and no more than three students may sign up for each topic. Submitting a paper on a topic other than what was indicated in the sign up wiki may result in a failing grade.

You are required to find and use at least four scholarly sources on your topic. Each source should be properly cited with internal MLA parenthetical citations, and you need to include a full properly formatted bibliography Please refer back to the Project Resources page in the Digital Portfolio Project folder for help finding credible scholarly sources.

Your Nano-History paper must be 1-2 pages in length and follow MLA guidelines (double-spaced, 12pt. Times New Roman font, one-inch margins). This assignment is worth a total of 25 points. Consult the HIST 134 Nano-History Paper Rubric for a more in-depth articulation of the requirements for this assignment. This rubric is available when you open the assignment.
