GET A PROFESSIONAL PAPER DONE BY AN EXPERT

I plan to counsel Adults age 18 and up with anxiety, depression, ptsd, and attention issues.Personality-warm, genuine, funny, sincere, down to earth, and easy going.Theories-Use Solution-Focused Brief Theory, reality therapy, and Choice theoryPurposeThe purpose of this paper is to allow you the opportunity to develop your own personal counseling theoretical approach. As a professional counselor you may decide to adopt one specific counseling theory, to which you adhere. But you are also likely to incorporate aspects of other theories in your practice. This paper will help you begin to process which theories seem to best fit you, your personality, and your intended client population. This assignment addresses one of our Student Learning Objectives and several CACREP Standards (listed in parentheses). The elements of an integrative perspective of counseling theories (CACREP 2.F.5.a,n)Self-awareness of personal and professional characteristics that impact counseling skills (CACREP 2.F.5.f)TaskWrite an integrative paper that articulates your personal theoretical orientation to counseling. Do not write a report about the theories of counseling in your integrative approach. This paper is meant to express your reflection of how you plan to approach counseling. To do that you should choose multiple theories that support and inform your approach. While you should identify and define concepts from these theories, the real focus is on how YOU view them and plan to use them. Your paper should include the following information:your basic philosophy of counseling (describe the personal characteristics you possess that will help you follow this counseling philosophy and make you a good counselor, your counseling goals, your view of your role as a counselor, view of the therapeutic relationship)an explanation for your choice of theories to include in your integrative approach (key concepts from the theories you have chosen that appeal to you)describe how your chosen approach fits with your planned counseling setting when you become a professional counselor or school counselor (central techniques and methods you plan to use from each of the theories you have chosen, and applications for your approach, what setting do you plan to work in, what types of clients/students do you plan to work with, and how does your approach fit that setting and clientele?).Many of these aspects correspond to the sections in your textbook found in each chapter that describes a specific theory. Refer to the chapters for the theories that comprise your integrated approach to help you identify relevant material for your paper. Address specific issues as outlined in Chapter 15 of your textbook. An attractive approach to many of us is one in which we are not tied down to a particular theory or set of techniques. The integrative approach takes a thoughtful, purposeful stance on how a counselor can integrate several different theories. The danger of this approach is that a counselor will “cherry pick” ideas and techniques from other theories without being knowledgeable of and trained in those those theories. Being integrative does not give you free rein to do whatever you like. The following video helps describe these thoughts in more detail. If you have any questions, please reach out.
