I watched a Vedio on 2 doctors debating Aids. One of them was taking the stance on how HIV testing should be mandatory in Africa and the other doctor was saying its unethical to do that instead we should do voluntary HIV testing educate the people and aslo Condom distribution. Please follow the questions on the attachment, Also very important compare and contrast the two presenters’ viewpoints. Why do you feel the way you do about the issue presented?Of the four responses offered in the scenario, which do you think is the most ethical and why?Which ethical theory would you use to support your stance? Why does this theory work?4. Support your conclusions with evidence and specific examples from the textbook, including a minimum of one theory of ethics to defend your stance.Of the four responses offered in the scenario, which do you think is the most ethical and why? This is the one i picked from the four responses.I agree with Dr. Meadows. We have to address the problem in terms of tackling the supply chain problem and getting more condoms out for more people. There is real difficulty in getting people to change long-held beliefs that prevent them from seeing that condom distribution is ethical. HIV education, condom availability, and voluntary testing should lead to change here. And we should always first consider testing programs that we can implement with the least possible harm to personal freedoms, such as using codes rather than names to identify patients in order to keep their health information private and protected
