Conduct an interview (at least 60 minutes) using phenomenological style questioning to gain an understanding of the “lived experience” of the person they are interviewing. If you are unsure how to conduct this type of interview, or write up the transcript, please review the Phenomenological Interview Guide Attached. Make sure to follow the format in the Guide. The Guide also talks about how to identify themes and can assist you in identifying the three factors (biological, social and psychological) that contribute to your interviewee’s health issue. Your transcript and list of factors (themes) will be turned in for credit. It must be typed and spell & grammar checked for you to have the ability to receive full credit.Students must submit transcripts of the interview with a list of the contributing factors.
