Interview Planning

Many of the questions asked during an interview are generic. However, a candidate’s response must reflect individuality, skills, and experience, and consider the organization and position being applying for.

    • Using the same job postings and video applications from Assignment #1 & 2, partners will research and create 2 behavioural, 2 situational, and 2 non-directive questions for each partner to answer. Questions created for partner #1 must differ from those created for partner #2.
    • Situational interview questions should be based on the job description and refer to the required skills and responsibilities of the position.
    • Behavioural interview questions should allude to real work experiences and refer to how a candidate should respond in a given situation.
    • Non-Directive (open ended) interview questions should allow the candidate to talk freely about themselves.
