It is important to make the distinction between Civil Liberties and Civil Rights. Civil Liberties are limits on the government and Civil Rights are obligations of the government. Throughout our history we have enacted several pieces of Civil Rights legislation.Which piece of legislation do you believe was most important in our journey towards equality?
