Learning Goal: I’m working on a sociology presentation and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.Give a five-minute (or less) presentation of an object, image, place, or other artifact from somewhere significant to you. You’ll introduce your object/place/image/artifact and then explain how it relates to the themes and questions of our course. One goal of this assignment is to share with one another the different places we are familiar with. Another is to use urban studies and urban sociology to read artifacts from urban, suburban, and rural places.You do not need to submit anything to this assignment if you are not making slides and your object is physical. If your object is virtual (e.g. an image) or you have slides, upload them here so I can pull them up during class.
