Needed to read the novel “Son of a Trickster” by Eden Robinson, create a thesis and back it up from a certain viewpoint.My thesis was “In Eden Robinsons’ novel, Son of a Trickster, the manner that Jared’s life plays out is a textbook illustration of the tyranny and suffering that may be found in the post-colonial period”, and my literary viewpoint that I was drawing from was a post colonial standpoint.I need to create a concept map, that is informal, ideas presented as key words or phrases, starts with a major term, next term or idea extends either in hierarchical or radiating format, branches on concept maps move from a more complex to a less complex idea, branches often end in examples, linking words or phrases on lines state the relationship between concepts, may use colour.This concept map has to showcase and reflect how my thesis is backed up in the novel based on my literary viewpoint as well (post colonial) by incoporating factors that contribute to the thesis.
