GET A PROFESSIONAL PAPER DONE BY AN EXPERT

Peer review is an essential part of research. Research psychologists send their manuscripts (what you’re writing for this class!) to collaborators and other researchers for feedback and manuscripts go through an extensive peer review process before being published. In order for a paper to be submitted, the researcher must confirm that their manuscript meets the requirements of the journal (e.g., formatting, aims) and then their work gets reviewed by one to three other psychologists in the field.Reviewers provide one of three suggestions to the editor—1) rejection (most common), 2) revise and resubmit (also called an R & R and researchers are always happy to get this), or 3) accept (this almost never happens the first round). If an author receives an R & R they must review the feedback provided by the reviewers, edit as necessary, provide rationale of the changes they’ve made, and resubmit for another round of reviews. The reason authors are usually excited about an R&R is because it means journal editors are at least interested in publishing your work and it often eventually leads to a successful publication! This peer review activity serves a similar purpose. Get feedback from your peers, share and talk through ideas, and gain direction for your editing process! This assignment aligns with the following course objective:Explain the terminology, concepts, and ethics fundamental to research design and methodology.Compose written reports of research in appropriate APA style.Design and conduct research projects.Present research designs and results to others in class. This assignment has more focused course and skill-based learning objectives:Continue developing your ability to evaluate and constructively critique the work of your peers.Receive feedback on how to improve the title page, introduction, method, and references sections of your Final APA Paper.InstructionsParticipation in peer review is dependent on your submission of a rough draft. During the review session you will be providing feedback to a fellow classmate using a guided rubric. Participation in peer review and providing thoughtful feedback is the second half of your review grade. This peer review session is designed to give you the opportunity to read the work of others in the class and provide constructive feedback. Further, you will receive feedback on your draft. Use this feedback as information and guidance when moving forward with your edits for your final paper!PEER REVIEW DOCUMENT: CLICK HEREActionsto download the peer review guide.
