You have to Conceptualization a client which is very important as it sets the foundation for treatment. We need to think about the client in the context of his or her family and relationships, ecosystem and culture. We need to understand both the resources in the community and what is realistic for the client and the family. Who are the trusted family members and what are the relationships in the family? We need to begin to think about how communication and work will be done with client, family and agencies.
