ORDER YOUR PAPER AND GET QUALITY FOR YOUR MONEY

The final paper has 217 points. It is a reflective and analytical paper based on the important cultural values we have studied in this course. This assignment should be 3- 4 pages long. This is not a research paper. You are to choose a theme which we have studied in this course including the introduction, the culture of the US. Or you can apply the theme or topic of your interest to the three ethnicities: Iranian-Americans, Mexican-Americans, and Chinese-Americans and their cultures, which we have concentrated in this class. I advise you to think hard about the topics or themes which interest you rather than choosing a topic which you consider to be more important for this course. You want to make sure you choose a topic which you have a very good understanding about and it interests you. If the topic that you have chosen and your thesis statement requires you to research outside of the reading materials for this course, you can do so. Please make sure you’re including all your sources in your Works Cited page and are using the MLA format for your in-text citations. How do you start thinking about a topic of your interest in this course? First, you should go back to the course syllabus and read the course description section very critically. What are the themes which we cover in this course? Second, go to Canvas and study the PowerPoint presentations. Third, go over the novels or the films which we have watched in this course. The following are the suggestive themes to get you thinking. You can choose any of these themes and relate them to the 3 cultures which we have studied or choose your own theme. Be creative!Ancient Cultures: Ancient Persia: The Achaemenid of Persia and their relevance and importance to modern IranReligions: Zoroastrian religion and its principles, the theme of good vs. evil, compare it with Daoism, Confucianism, and BuddhismCyrus Cylinder and its important humanitarian message; The Freedom Sculpture, the gift from Iranian-American community to the city of Los AngelesColonialism, post-colonialism, revolution, and their impacts on national identity: The impact of colonialism either directly such as Mexico or indirectly through the political interferences of the US in Iran. Revolution- Among the three cultures which we’ve studied have had a revolution in the 20th CERevolution- each 3 culture has had a revolution in the 20th CE which resulted in major cultural changes. How have the artists from these culture represented the cultural changes due to revolution in their own countryThomas Hart Benton murals- Using Thomas Hart Benton murals as a springboard how would you define or paint the mural of America Today from the perspective of the three ethnicities which we have studied. In other words, what do you consider to be the cultural influences and contributions from the cultures which we’ve studied?Architecture: Achaemenid architecture (Pre-Islamic), Islamic architecture in Iran under Safavid, ancient and modern architecture in Mexico and ChinaImmigration- 20th CE has witnessed a big wave of immigrants from the three cultures into the US and other countries. Consider the common issues among immigrants: cultural identity and assimilations. Think of the 3 novels which we’ve studied in this course and their themes. If you are comparing the novels which we’ve studied, your paper cannot be exactly a rewrite of your previously written responses to the novels.Visual arts: Calligraphy, poetry, & painting- the importance of calligraphy and poetry in the culture of Iran and China and Mexican Muralism in Mexico and Mission Murals in SFPlease keep in mind these are only suggestions. You are not restricted to these topics. You can choose any topic or themes which we’ve covered in this course.Your paper is going to be graded based on the following:Page formatting (5 points)1-inch margins all around; double spaced; 12-pointCreate a header that numbers all pages consecutively in the upper right-hand corner, one-half inch from the top and flush with the right marginIn the upper left-hand corner of the first page, list your name, your instructor’s name, the course, and the date.
