The use, overuse, and abuse of antibiotics are accredited with creating antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria. Explain how this relates to natural selection. Using credible sources describe 2 things that people such as professionals do to contribute to this issue.
Natural selection is the process where organisms are better adapted to their environment and end to survive and produce more offspring according to unit 9. “Natural selection of antibiotic resistant bacteria’s is the starting point in a large bacteria. They are susceptible to antibiotics and they are resistant by chance”. (Mutations and Selections, 2017). The use of antibiotics therefore are not resistant but only by chance. What do people do to contribute to this issue? Antibiotic resistance is the use, and misuse of antibiotics. Everyone as a whole can contribute to this resistance and prevent sickness. People all over the world contribute to this issue by not washing their hands, spreading viruses, being around people without telling them they are sick and etc. In conclusion, antibiotic resistance is an environmental pressure which bacteria mutates allowing the bacteria to live and reproduce which causes infection in others, or animals.

Are there things that you can personally do to reduce your risk or even to reduce the spread of these dangerous microbes?
I’m Sorry for bringing this up without proof but I have to include, I have been told at work from people who watch the news that people who have been vaccinated are likely to catch a new string of covid that is supposedly coming down but from the research from this .gov website it says getting vaccinated is one actions that can help reduce the risk of getting it. They probably just rushed the vaccine if this is true of the covid news but hopefully they perfect it in due time. Washing your hands after going out and touching all sorts of door handles is a good way to reduce the risk or spreading through touch. Beware of the changes of your health so you can isolate yourself from others so you don’t spread a contagious disease. Talk to your healthcare provider about how to use antibiotics effectively. Be careful on how you prepare your food and be careful on where and how to get your food as well. Be sure when you go out to travel you are healthy so you don’t spread any of the harmful bacteria so others wont get sick.
