Throughout the semester, we have read and discussed the meaningfulness of the ca

Throughout the semester, we have read and discussed the meaningfulness of the categories of “identity politics,” “intersectionality,” and “anti-identity politics” for feminist, queer, and disability theory. In your estimation, HOW does a liberal versus a left approach to theorizing the problem AND organizing people against the oppression of women, queer women and trans and gender non-conforming peoples’(TGNC) transform how we understand the problem and inform possible solutions? Further, what are the limitations of each approach politically speaking?
In your response you are required to define and discuss not only the three theoretical categories/concepts in a nuanced way that is reflective of the readings, but also where you personally judge identity politics, intersectionality, and anti-identity politics to fall politically speaking–more along liberal or left leaning lines?
You are required to pick 3 of the following assigned readings: Hooks; Taylor AND Smith; Anzaldúa; Jagose; John-Barker and Scheele; de Beauvoir, Cohen; Gieseking; Rohrer; Hischmann; Bracewell; Arvin, Tuck, and Morrill; Deer, but you should choose readings that complement each of the three theoretical categories: identity politics, intersectionality, and anti-identity politics.
Thesis’s needs to be one sentence
