Please read the instructions and check the uploaded file carefullyFinal Term Project: Syntactic acquisition of sign languageACADEMIC SOURCES ARE REQUIREDAim:To conduct a literature review on a topic pertinent to the language development of deaf children.Students may focus on signed language, spoken language or both (i.e., bimodal bilingual acquisition) in this term paper.It is pair work in identifying a topic and papers, but individual work in writing up the papers.Tasks:1. Topic: Syntactic acquisition of sign language2. Browse the journals and books for some relevant titles and develop a reading list3. After reading the abstracts of the papers and book chapters, narrow the list down to around 8-10 papers4. Each student will be responsible for reporting on 4-5 papers in the literature review.5. Summarize the research and the findings (2500 words)6. Write a critique about the research and the findings (500 words)7. Follow the template for the format of the term paper8. During the process of topic choosing and reading list compilation, students can work on their own if they so prefer and the number of papers is 4-5. Writing up of the paper must be individual though.
