What can we do to reduce actual trip fuel cost?

Our company makes and ships widgets to distributors in our region of the United States. Recently, our actual shipping cost have exceeded our expected cost. What items that we can control could be causing these cost overruns?

Analyze the attached data set to identify any anomalies that could be addressed. Prepare a business memo using the attached template. Make sure you clearly identify a problem/opportunity and clearly communicate your recommended solution to any issue you identify.

In this exercise, students provide a business decision recommendation using SAS and Excel. The student will create a summary report of their analysis and create an informative graphic. Finally, the students will prepare and submit a business memorandum that provides a recommendation based on their analysis of the data set that includes an analysis of different courses of action using weighted factors.

    3. how you analyzed the data
    4. the results of your analysis

      • ii.you should have some type of graphic (column chart, pie chart, scatter graph, etc.) that illustrates your findings
  3. Discussion. In this paragraph, in clear language, what did you find in your analysis, and what are the implications of your findings (for this exercise, you can be creative)
  4. Conclusion. In this paragraph, briefly discuss what you learned in doing this exercise.In this paragraph, summarize the analysis project. In other words, identify the issue under investigation so that the reviewer knows what this analysis is about. This could be a problem or an opportunity.
