- A cover page must be included and formatted per the sample cover page above andshould include your actual signature. Script-style fonts are not acceptable as a signature.
- The required information for each weekly lab repon is stipulated in the Results section of each lab experiment chapter. Follow the format provided and include all required information.
- Font: Times New Roman, size 12 (except table and figure labels, which should be size 10)
- All margins should be set to one inch (l “), and any tables and/or figures should not fall outside o f these margins.
- As illustrated in the sample above, reports should be well organized such that information can be located and deciphered quickly and efficiently, and use organizational techniques such as:
- Headings and/or subheadings
- Boldface and/or italics
- Spacing and/or indenting
- Bullets and/or numbering
- Tables included to present data must be clear and easy to read, include column titles, be consecutively numbered (per the example above), and include a unique and descriptive label.
- All drawings, photographs, graphs/charts, and/or diagrams included are considered ”Figures” and must be consecutively numbered (per the example above) and include a unique and descriptive label.
- Any shapes (lines, arrows, boxes, circles, etc.) and/or text boxes used to annotate graphs or figures should be neat and clearly marked.
- All pages after the cover page must include page numbers in the footer (formatted consistently, whether they are center, left, or right) as illustrated in this document.

11. IMPORTANT: to avoid any technological formatting/viewing issues, Canvas submissions will be restricted to PDF files only. If a report is uploaded in any other format other than PDF and exhibits formatting issues, points will be deducted accordingly .
