Please reference the book Watchmen, not the movie. Please make sure it is MLA format, and not APA. You can still reference the movie but the paper is based soley on the comic book. Over the course of the semester you have read the graphic novel Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. This essay is going to require you to write an 8-10 page analytical paper focusing on one of the thematic aspects of the novel. Watchmen is dense with material about all manner of topic, your job is to choose one of those topics and write about it as it applies to the book. This paper also requires a minimum of two additional outside sources (that means not the novel), one of these sources must be non-internet (if you used the internet to get the source, it is an internet source; this includes academic journals, e-books, online articles. If you have to question in any way, shape or form, it is probably an internet source. Can you hold it in your hand? If you can, that isn’t an internet source). You must quote from your sources and they must be included in a works cited page. No works cited equates to an “F” for each source you are short; you will lose 10% of your grade. If you have no non-net source, you will lose 10% of your grade. Each page your piece is short is also a 10% deduction. You must also cite from Watchmen.
