This essay must have four parts:(a) Section 1 should be an introduction where you provide a brief summary of one of the core claims, basic themes, or major ideas in the Philosophy of the Human Person and a statement of how you plan to explore, clarify, or illustrate this idea by using at least two of our course readings.(b) Section 2 should be your clarification section where you use at least two of our course readings or philosophers to explore, clarify, illustrate one of the core claims made by existentialists.(c) Section 3 should be your reaction section where you provide an argument that explicitly states whether you agree or disagree with the idea you have explored. That is, you will state whether the existentialist claim is valid or invalid (justified or unjustified) and then provide at least two reasons why that claim is valid/invalid or justified/unjustified. It is okay to give your view on a matter but make sure it is supported by reasons and or by your personal experience.(d) Section 4 should be the overall summary, unresolved problems, and conclusion. The body of your essay should consist 5-6 pages including footnotes and bibliography (try not exceed this limit). It must have a title and an introduction. The essay must be cleanly typed and proofread (font size 12; one-sided; double-spaced; pages are numbered) and should conform to standard rules of formatting, grammar, punctuation, and spelling as well as to conventions in formal essay writing in English language. Borrowed ideas or statements and important data (including websites/web sources or news and newspaper articles) are given proper credit and documentation through the use of footnotes, citations and bibliography or reference list. It is recommended that you cite your sources according to one of the following formats: MLA, Turabian, or APA.
