Objective: To explore the role of stereotypes, nonverbal communication, and conflict management skills and styles in intercultural communication encounters. After watching the film take notes about stereotypes and perceptions that the students have of each other, their knowledge of each other’s cultures (or lack thereof), their nonverbal communication in the film and their conversations about nonverbal communication and emotions, and the conflict management styles that the students use when they encounter conflict with another. Write a 2-3 page double spaced, APA format essay that explores the aforementioned concepts (and refers to concepts from previous chapters) please offer specific examples from the film, and use concepts and vocabulary from the course textbook. While you may begin your essay with a brief summary of the film, please ensure that most of your essay is rich with analysis, NOT a summary of the movie.
