You have been working as a middle manager in a small, privately held technology sales company for four months. You manage five sales managers and two office support staff. Each of your sales managers have seven to ten sales associates reporting to them. Employees believe the company is performing at an adequate level, however there is an increasing sense from your manager that the owners of the company believe the company is underperforming. They also observed that employee morale is low. Your manager has commented your team is not productive or responsive to external / internal clients. They are often curt with clients and each other.
Today, you were given the goals below. There will be no increase in staffing or change in product lines.
