The written components of the term project are to be typewritten and submitted online. You will be graded on form and content. Form includes punctuation, spelling, grammar, incorrect word choice, sentence structure, and paragraph structure. In your one-page write-up, you will need to list your chosen work, why you have chosen it, and which of its contexts you hope to discover through your research. It should also include the notation of the specific work you have chosen to explain your topic (this means the title, artist, date, medium/media, location, etc. where relevant). Be sure to choose a work to investigate with context in mind. You will also need to include a carefully worded thesis statement based upon your chosen work and its contexts. Important: You need to have in mind a controlling idea, a thesis, which governs your approach to the topic.
